Management Team

Ben Grass

Ben Grass is Managing Director of Pure Grass Films, and Producer of Beyond the Rave and When Evil Calls and Executive Producer of Kirill. Ben previously headed Sony Pictures Digital Division in Europe, was previously Senior Advisor, Corporate Strategy at the BBC. Ben has five years strategy consulting experience, holds an MBA from INSEAD and an MA in Modern History from Oxford University.

Tom Grass

Tom Grass is Creative Director of Pure Grass Films, and the Writer of Beyond the Rave. Tom has extensive experience as a writer and media strategist, and has worked for Saatchi & Saatchi; Tribal DDB and managed a wide range of freelance consulting assignments for clients. Tom has written screenplays, short stories and created mobile games for movies such as Charlie's Angels 2. Tom has an MA in Modern History from Oxford University.

Wendy Bevan-Mogg

Wendy Bevan-Mogg is Head of Production at Pure Grass Films and began her career working for the UK art house distributor Artificial Eye and sales agent Pathe International. She then took part in the UK Film Council development executive training scheme, and since 2004 has produced a slate of award-winning short films and promos. Wendy is also represented by AP Watt as a screenwriter. She was named in Screen International as one of the 'Stars of Tomorrow' in June 2006.

Sam Sniderman

Sam is Commercial Director of Pure Grass Films. He began his career as a commercial lawyer with a leading international firm before joining a large North American gaming and entertainment company in a business development role. More recently, Sam worked in a senior position at Ingenious Media structuring investment opportunities in film, television, video games and digital media. Sam has degrees in law and economics and an MBA from INSEAD.

Tim Hincks

Chief Executive Officer, Endemol UK (PGF Board Member)

Tim Hincks is responsible for ENDEMOL UK’s programmes, content and its production brands – Initial, Cheetah Television, Zeppotron and Brighter Pictures. Tim began his television career in 1990 when he divided his time between producing BBC Two’s Food and Drink programme for Bazal and working on current affairs programmes such as Newsnight and BBC Westminster.

He became Creative Director of ENDEMOL UK in 2002 and stepped up to become Chief Creative Officer in January 2005. He was appointed Chief Executive Officer in January 2008. Tim sits on the Endemol International board, He is the Executive Chair of Media Guardian Edinburgh International Television Festival. He has a clean driving liscence and plays the guitar reasonably well.

Peter Cowley

Managing Director of Digital Media, Endemol UK (PGF Board Member)

As Director of Digital Media for Endemol UK and Chief Executive of Victoria Real, Peter’s role is to develop and implement Endemol’s digital media strategy in the UK. The role is a UK board level position, reflecting the significance of interactive media within Endemol's business.

Previous to Endemol, Peter has worked in the media, marketing and advertising industries at Freeserve, Cable & Wireless, Videotron and Bartle Bogle Hegarty.

Erica Motley

(PGF Board Member)

After two years on Wall Street and a Harvard MBA, Erica began her film career as an international acquisition executive at HBO. She then joined the international programming teams for Fox in LA and Premiere in Hamburg. Erica returned to America as a business development executive for IFILM's broadband business. She later became the Head of Film for Shine International in London before beginning the role as Head of Acquisitions at UIP. Erica is currently developing digital distribution strategies for the Tribeca Film Festival in New York.

Damian Lewis

Damian Lewis is an internationally renowned actor whose credits include Band of Brothers (produced by Steven Spielberg and Directed by Tom Hanks); Dreamcatcher (starring alongside Morgan Freeman); Keane (Directed by Lodge Kerrigan) and Chromophobia (Directed by Martha Fiennes and Co-Starring Kristen Scott Thomas). Damian's television work includes The Forsyth Saga and Colditz, and he is a partner at leading New York and London based film production company, Picture Farm.

Roger Vakharia

Roger is Managing Director, Global Alliances - Media and Entertainment at Microsoft. Until 2006, he was Managing Director of INTEL in Los Angeles, and was responsible for the company's digital entertainment efforts and relationships with studios and record labels. Roger is now on the Board of Morgan Freeman's digital content business Clickstar, and of EROS, owner of the largest library of Bollywood films in the world.
