Cross-platform producer Pure Grass Films has launched a new web series in partnership with male-skewing video site Break.com.
Trigger Point, which launches on Break.com and YouTube today, is an action thriller about a group of intelligence agents that combats government corruption.
Distributor Content Digital, a division of Content Media, negotiated the online distribution of the series. A novel that ties in with Trigger Point has also been released today as an e-book, published by Hodder & Stoughton.
UK-based Pure Grass Films’ credits include Beyond the Rave, MySpace’s first original web series outside the US, and Kirill, an online drama coproduction with Endemol UK. The firm is currently working on a feature film adaptation of Oliver Twist with Red Bull.
Break.com is a division of Break Media, which creates and distributes male-targeted content online. It claims an audience of some 200 million through its video and editorial, and runs its own in-house production studio.
